Welcome to the "TikLife" Privacy Policy.
"TikLife" is a diary app developed and operated by Zhuhai Pocket Factory Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "we" or "us"). Before registering as a user of "TikLife", please read this policy carefully to ensure you fully understand each clause.
On first install, the app will display a privacy policy and user agreement dialog on the home screen. Tapping "Agree" indicates your consent to this policy; if you disagree, you won’t be able to use "TikLife". On the registration/login page, checking the consent checkbox indicates agreement; if unchecked, you won’t be able to register.
We integrate Umeng+ Analytics SDK to collect anonymized statistics such as daily active users, crash logs, usage time, session counts, and device information. The SDK may collect device identifiers (e.g., IMEI/Device Serial, MAC Address, Android ID, IDFA, OpenUDID, GUID, SIM IMSI) and location for analytics. Uploading images may require camera access; custom themes may require photo library access. If you log in via phone, QQ, or WeChat, we collect your mobile number or third‑party unique ID, avatar, nickname, and gender to save your login information and sync your data across devices. For membership features, we integrate WeChat Pay SDK (com.tencent.mm.opensdk) and Alipay SDK (com.alipay) to process payments.
During your use of the product and services, we collect information you actively provide or that is generated by your use, to deliver services, optimize experience, and protect account security.
Additionally, under applicable laws and national standards, we may collect and use personal information without consent in cases including but not limited to: national security, public safety, criminal investigation, safeguarding vital interests where consent is hard to obtain, information you disclose publicly, information from lawful public sources (e.g., news reports, government disclosures), to sign or perform a contract at your request, to maintain product/service security and stability, lawful news reporting, statistical or academic research with de‑identified results, and other circumstances prescribed by law.
We store your information securely using local storage (e.g., app caching), databases, and server logs.
We retain personal information only for the period necessary to achieve service purposes or as required by laws and regulations.
If you use cloud sync, information generated during use will be stored on our cloud servers. Without your authorization, no third party can access such information. When you delete this information within "TikLife", it will be deleted synchronously from our cloud servers.
We store information collected within mainland China in China. We currently do not transfer or store your information across borders. If cross‑border transfer/storage is required in the future, we will notify you of the purpose, the recipient, safeguards, and potential risks, and obtain your consent in advance.
We take industry‑standard technical and organizational measures to prevent information leakage, loss, misuse, unauthorized access and disclosure, including firewalls, encryption (e.g., SSL), de‑identification/anonymization, and access controls. We also strengthen the security capabilities of client software, e.g., encrypting some information on your device and monitoring application/process information to prevent malware.
We analyze usage frequency, crash/exception logs, performance, and operations to ensure service security and optimize products. We do not combine data stored in analytics software with your personal identity information.
We do not proactively share or transfer your personal information to third parties. If sharing/transfer is required or requested by you, we or the third party will obtain your express consent in advance.
We do not publicly disclose collected personal information. If disclosure is necessary, we will notify you of the purpose, type, and any sensitive information involved, and obtain your express consent. In the event of mergers, acquisitions, or asset transfers, we will inform you and require the new controller to continue to protect your personal information to standards no lower than this policy.
We provide feedback channels for complaints and suggestions, and will process them promptly.
Currently, "TikLife" supports login via mobile number, QQ, or WeChat. To delete your account, please follow the instructions in Settings → General Settings → Delete Account. Before deletion, please understand and agree you will no longer be able to use the account or recover any information associated with it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When terms change, we will notify you in‑app (e.g., red‑dot indicator) and indicate the effective date. Please read the updated policy carefully. Your continued use of "TikLife" indicates consent to the updated policy.
We value minors’ personal information protection. Users under 14 must obtain guardian consent before using services or providing personal information; users aged 14–18 should obtain guardian consent or provide consent themselves in accordance with laws.
We use, provide, or disclose minors’ information only when permitted by law, with explicit guardian consent, or when necessary to protect the minors.
If you are a guardian, please ensure the minor uses "TikLife" with your authorization. If you have questions about the minor’s information, please contact us per Section 10.
This policy constitutes general privacy terms uniformly applicable to "TikLife" users. If other privacy policies conflict with this policy, this policy shall prevail.
